Tour to Arequipa and Colca Canyon
In the afternoon and after acclimatization to the altitude, we will take a tour guided through the city of Arequipa, visit the Plaza de Armas, one of the most beautiful of Peru, Cathedral of Arequipa, the Company, the Church of San Francisco and Santa Catalina convent built in the 16th century that was completely closed to visitors for nearly 400 years, this magnificent convent has been the scene of many events and religious and historical adventures. Its medieval streets, named many of the old Spanish streets, lead to secret passages with cells of many varieties and sizes. For centuries, religious mothers lived her life completely isolated from the rest of the world.
Return to the hotel in Arequipa.
Early in the morning, at the time indicated a bus will pass by our hotel for our excursion to the Colca Canyon, known as the world's deepest Canyon. We will travel to the North of Arequipa through the desert and on the step that separates Chachani and El Misti volcano. Our trip will be through the nature reserve of Pampas Cañihuas. With a little luck, we will find in the way domesticated alpacas and other American camelids. This protected area is also rich in native flora; we will also visit the town of Chivay.
Overnight and dinner at the hotel in Colca city.
We live early in the morning to visit the Cruz Del Condor, a point from where you can see the wonderful view of the Misti and the River passing beneath the place. It is here where most condors are seen. Return to Arequipa, we turn on the exceptional views due to the Inca terraces and Pre-Incas that are many miles and are one of the largest of Peru.
Arrival to Arequipa afternoon and transfer to the Hotel.

At the time indicated transfer from the hotel to the airport to go to the next city.

DAY 1: LIMA - AREQUIPA: CITY TOUR
Arrival in Arequipa, reception at the airport and transfer to a selected Hotel.
