Pachacamac Archaeological Complex
It was the most important ceremonial center of the Peruvian coast from pre-Incas times. The material used in buildings was mud. Palaces, squares and temples (some restored) can be distinguished, among which stand out the Temple of the Sun and the Acllahuasi both raised during the Inca rule (1440-1533), which form part of the best-preserved sector. It has a Museum that houses the pieces found in the excavations.
20 Km to the East of the city of Lima by the asphalt road towards Huarochiri (30 minutes by car).

Puruchuco Archaeological Site
Construction of mud and adobe belonging to the Inca period (15th - 16th A.C.). Considered that it was a Palace or administrative center of singular importance in the area. Space allocation follows geometrical lines and is divided into three sectors among a set of patios and viewpoints. During the excavation recovered several human burials, characterized by found in fetal position and accompanied by various everyday objects. It has an interesting site Museum.
Archaeological Site Cajamarquilla
Built between 500 and 600 A.C, during the period of dominance in the Valley of the Lima culture. With its 167 hectares, is considered the second largest mud city complex of the Andes pre-Hispanic (after of Chan Chan, La Libertad).
Huachipa Zoo Park
It is home to over two thousand animals belonging to about 300 species, among birds, mammals, reptiles and fish.

Southbound
From the km 35 of the Panamericana Sur Highway began a string of beautiful beaches prolonging uninterruptedly to the coast to the city of Cañete, 135 km from the city of Lima. There are sand and boulder with ideal waves to the practice of surfing: El Silencio (km. 41.5), Señoritas (km. 42), Peñascal (km. 51 - San Bartolo), Pico Alto beach (km. 43) and Punta Roca beach (km. 45). Many have become residential spas: Pulpos (km. 41), Santa Maria and Embajadores (km. 51), Naplo (51 km). Others have abundant services such as hotels, restaurants and entertainment centers: Punta Hermosa and Punta Negra (45 km), San Bartolo (51 km), Pucusana (57 km).
