Tambomachay in Spanish or Tampumachay (quechua: tanpu mach' ay, resting place) is located near Cusco, in Peru. It is an archaeological site which was destined for the cult of water and to ensure that the head of the Inca Empire could rest. This place is also called the Inca Baths.
Consists of a series of aqueducts, channels, and several waterfalls that run through the rocks. Surprising it is that from a main cascade , the Incas created two secondary cacades, which are exactly the same, i.e if one places two empty bottles, one in each cascade, the two are filled at the same time.
Here there was also a kind of Royal Garden whose irrigated came from a complicated system of channels especially made for such a function. Likewise constitute an area of control of persons coming from the Antisuyo, because there was a control tower.
