| Ch'iaraje / January 20 | Canas Province, District of Yanaoca (Czech community) Fight ritual among residents of the communities of Czech and Quehue, who face a warrior game to promote the fertility of the Earth. The winning community is the one which occupies more land. The gunmen, waves, scourges of leather and sticks, wear jackets decorated with flowers. Women help caring for horses and collecting stones and encourage men singing. |
| Fighting Toqto / February 2 | Chumbivilcas province, district of Livitaca (Toctopata) Carried out in the place called Tocto, located between the districts of Yanaoca and Livitaca. They have duration of three days, which evoke the struggles to gain more land for cultivation. Day participants are installed on the site, the second day start singles matches and then groups of five and ten people are forming. After eating and drinking, they face all until the third day, during which they pick up their wounded and made qhaswa (rounds where celebrate winners and losers). |
